Under the auspices of Halqa Khawateen Jamaat-e-Islami District Malir, a central visit to Quran understanding classes was held on Monday, in which Naib Qaimah of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Samina Saeed, participated as the chief guest. On this occasion, Nazima Karachi Jawedaan Fahim, Muatamada Karachi Sajida Tanveer, Naibaat Farah Imran and Nadeema Tasneem were also present with her.

The program consisted of two major sessions aimed at improving the quality of Quran understanding classes, making the participants’ religious and intellectual training more effective, and enhancing the skills of the trainers.

In the first session, Samina Saeed assessed the participants’ understanding of the curriculum and its impact through various questions. She encouraged the participants and emphasized making the message of the Holy Qur’an a part of their practical lives. During the session, she highlighted the greatest Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ—conveying Allah’s message to people and acting upon it—and tried to instill this concept in the minds of the participants.

She stated that the real purpose of Quran understanding classes is not merely the acquisition of information, but to understand the message of the Qur’an, implement it in one’s life, and play a role in promoting goodness and righteousness in society. She urged the participants to strengthen their connection with the Qur’an and actively convey its message to their families, friends, and society.

In the second session, Samina Saeed conducted a training workshop for the instructors of Quran understanding classes on the topic “How to conduct an effective study circle.” She highlighted various aspects of effective teaching methods, mindset development of participants, and improving the learning process through dialogue, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions.

She said that Quran understanding classes should not be limited to an educational activity but should be transformed into centers of da’wah and training, where participants receive intellectual, moral, and practical development, and are also connected with the mission and objectives of the organization. She also discussed in detail the importance of achieving goals related to membership building and worker development through effective mindset building and individual attention.

At the end of the program, participants described the training and intellectual session as highly beneficial and expressed their commitment to further strengthening their efforts to convey the message of the Holy Qur’an to more women through Quran understanding classes and to promote positive Islamic values in society.

Additionally, a joint session of Tafheem-ul-Qur’an course participants from various areas of District Qaidin under Jamaat-e-Islami Halqa Khawateen was held at Quran Institute Campus One, where Anila Mahmood met and interacted with the participants in a motivational session. Members of the Jamaat-e-Islami Halqa Khawateen Karachi team, including Sheeba Tahir, Humaira Aman, Hajra Irfan, and Samia Asim, also met the participants.

Anila Mahmood is a central office bearer. She is a well-known psychologist, motivational speaker, and trainer. She serves as Senior Vice President of the Business Forum, Central Supervisor of the “Har Dil Tak Qur’an Project Pakistan,” and a member of the Shura of Halqa Khawateen Lahore and Central Punjab. Her services in the fields of mental health, personality development, youth guidance, and promotion of Qur’anic teachings are widely recognized, and she effectively presents her ideas in various training and intellectual forums.
