Announcement of the female members of the Central Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami.

The Election Commission of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, led by its Chairman Rashid Naseem, has announced the names of 25 women elected to the Central Majlis-e-Shura of the Women’s Wing for the 2026–29 session.

The elected members include women who have rendered distinguished services in various fields of life, including MBBS doctors, PhD scholars, writers, columnists, education professionals, and former parliamentarians.

Region-wise representation is as follows: 9 from Sindh, 4 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1 from Balochistan, 3 from North Punjab, 1 from the Islamabad Circle, 3 from Central Punjab, 2 from Lahore, and 2 from South Punjab.

Among the elected members are: from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Maria Aftab, Rabia Painda, Hasina Shah, and Fauzia Noreen; from Islamabad, Qudsia Namous; from North Punjab, Zahida Ashraf, Kausar Parveen, and Marium Jameela; from Lahore, Uzma Imran and Naziya Tauheed; from Central Punjab, Tayyaba Arshad and Bushra Sadiqa; from South Punjab, Shazia Sial and Shazia Shair Afzal; from Sindh and the Karachi Circle, Jawedan Fahim, Rakhshanda Naz Muneeb, Afshan Naveed, Durdana Siddiqui, Farah Imran, Asma Safeer, Musarrat Junaid, Nadeema Tasneem, and Ayesha Zahir; and from Balochistan, Shazia Abdullah.

The results for Central Punjab Constituency No. 3, which comprises Sahiwal, Okara, Pakpattan, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Kasur districts, will be announced later.

The counting process was attended by Election Commission Chairman Rashid Naseem, Commission members Bilal Qudrat Butt, Dr. Ataur Rehman, and Zikrullah Mujahid. The compilation of results was assisted by Imran Zahir Ghazi and his team.
